If you are using Google Chrome, click the STAR in the right side of the web address bar to make the page a favourite or follow instructions at the bottom of the page to set up a bookmark that is easy to return to with just one click.
If you shop using the Amazon app on your smartphone, you can also use Amazon Smile here too: If you are not already an AmazonSmile member, simply sign up at smile.amazon.co.uk and select your favourite charity to start generating donations, at no cost to you. The summer season has allowed us to spend the evenings outside and our activities have been varied and great fun.
Pioneer Scout Troop have been crabbing at Walberswick, Adventurers Scout Troop have been cycling, Wolves Cub Pack and Warriors Beavers have been outdoor cooking and Tigers Cub Pack have been on a bug hunt.
Tiger Cubs have been busy at local markets selling second hand books at Fressingfield and cakes at Laxfield. Both markets were a huge success with good profits. Thank you to everyone that supported them.
We recently celebrated the past year with an Open Evening at the HQ. Each section awarded a trophy to their Young Person of the year, Top Awards were presented and Leaders were awarded length of service awards. There was a bar, barbeque, raffle, and refreshments which raised a few hundred pounds for funds. There was air rifle shooting and archery to have a go at and a camp fire which early in the evening the youngest visitors enjoyed toasting marshmallows, and later older members sat around for a chat.
