Village Newsletter: April 2021

In these tricky times Fressingfield Scout Group continues to provide Virtual Scouting across all sections, at the time of writing it seems likely we will be able to return to some form of Face to Face Scouting after the Easter break. There will, undoubtedly be quite a few restrictions on numbers and activities which we will have to comply with.

The Leader Team has been working on some minor restructuring of roles to make best use of skills and experience and planning for training to increase the range of activities the team can provide, we hope to relaunch the Scout Group at the new headquarters in the autumn.

We are very grateful to the many people that have donated, and continue to donate, to our camp cooking equipment appeal, the response has been fantastic with much useful equipment donated, we are sure that much use will be made of it when we are allowed to camp again. If anyone has anymore, or small axes and logging or pruning saws please get in touch with Michael on 07761827053.

Our website and social media coordinator has started a project to gather archive material relating to Fressingfield Scout Group to display in the new HQ and form part of the website. If you have any photographs, memorabilia or even stories that you are able to share please get in touch with Ciaran at scouts@ciarancarr.co.uk or telephone Michael on 07761827053

Just to illustrate what we are looking for the Fressingfield Village archive has come up with a couple of pictures, does anyone recognise themselves?
