Donated £450 for environmental enhancments at the New Scout HQ.

The Adnams Community Trust was founded in 1990 to celebrate Adnams centenary as a public company. It is funded by a percentage of Adnams annual profits, mandated dividends, donations and legacies.
The Adnams Community Trust awards grants to worthy causes within 25 miles of Southwold or, in the case of national charities, exclusively for the benefit of those living within 25 miles of Southwold. Grants normally range from £100 to £2,500 and the Trustees expect to see the results of their donations within one year.

Providing ‘in kind’ mechanical and engineering support to the group.

Donated hundreds of pounds of private support for various projects including international expeditions and HQ development.

In 2018 The Royal British Legion led the nation in saying Thank You to the First World War generation, all who served, sacrificed and changed our world. We saw activities big and small as people found their own way to recognise the incredible contributions of an entire generation.

Donated £10,000 for an obstacle course at the New Scout HQ.

The National Lottery raises money for good causes.

There are 12 distributors of money raised by the players of The National Lottery, which fund projects and activities that transform communities, protect our heritage, and enrich lives through arts, sports and culture.

Donated £1,000 for new camping and outdoor cooking equipment.

Our Community Champions programme was established in 2015 and has already donated over £2 million to 3,000 good causes. Our 30 regional businesses give away 60 donations of up to £1000 every month. Our brand new scheme is Building Futures. Building Futures is an annual competition giving away £1 million to support children’s health, fitness and education.
